Batman-The Dark Knight????!!!!!

OMG, I'm sorry guys but it's sad to see geek-core arguments breaking out over whether Batman would kick the crap out of Superman and all that :-)

Just for the record if a hyper is ever put in in Canada I want them to have it themed after Captain Canuck :-) (real honest to god superhero!) La Ronde? PCW? Are you listening? :-)

Hey, it could have been worse... could have been called something like... oh, I don't know... "Roller Soaker"  (wait... get to see that one at the old home park this summer)

Quit your complaining.

....or you COULD put in a Turbo-Shoot themed after Bob and Doug McKenzie, and call it....TAKE-OFF, eh?

I think the name is just fine.  Who here is gonna say "Oh, since I don't like the name, I'm not going to ride it."  Six Flags is known for there supermans, batmans, and looney tunes.  Kick the Sky hit it right on the head.  What are we gonna whine about next..."Oh I don't like the schade of the color on the supports."  The ride is what counts to me and I would never imagine ppl. complaining and whining like babies over a freakin name.  I personally think Millenium Force is unimaginative but I don't give a crap and I don't give a crap if you dislike the name of a ride.  This isn't meant to put anyone down or be an a**.  It's just a name.

"Gee... BATMAN, the Dark Knight....

Six Flags will never break tradition and go for other superheros or villans."

Tradition?...You mean the monotony, right?

Sept. 11th 2001, Slayer released God Hates Us All. The song "Disciple" uncannily describes the events of that day, as well as the antrax letters that followed.

Batman's taken care of Superman a couple of few times. Why? Because Superman has a heart, Batman's got an agenda. BTW, if Miller themed the quee, I'd be willing to bet peeps would be scared to go into that line, that's just the man's talent, lol!

I'm so glad to see that others agree, Batman rides should be everywhere they can. As far as most people that pay these parks most of their monies, they probally never see more than a couple of them in their lives. Kids love it, makes me happy, long as there's no B&R: Lap of Luxury or something, it's all good.

Batman: The Dark Knight is a pissa name, especially considering Superhero theming is not my favorite.

But as long as we are on the subject, Batman could take care of Superman without much effort.  Batman is a gritty, experienced street fighter with no obvious weakness.  He can fight dirty, whereas Superman is the gentle giant.  Batman would just sucker punch the Man of Steel with a fistfull of Kryptonite that he procured from Lex Luther.

Superman Vs. Batman would make a cool movie... or better yet a dueling coaster.

shhh, don't give them any ideas. I think they should start theming them after the superman movies next...

SF announces Superman 5...

Much easier.

kingbob that is a great idea!  Batman vs Superman dueling B&M coasters.  Superman would be a flyer and Batman would be an invert!

...In regards to S vsd B argument, you are all forgetting Batman's main weakness, the "Boy Wonder"...
