TTDBoy == Attention whore with an LA IP address. You know who I mean. I'm not even going to play into the whoring.

Just because his IP is from LA dosent mean he does not know alot aboud TTD and/or has not kept up with the news on it.

Personaly I was at the park 2 days ago and the person behind me on goliath blackedout on the chain lift. The person next to him got him back up while in the lift and we where fine. He probly complained though to the ride ops.

Ive greyed out a couple of times on coasters but thats been due to me being dumb, they all occured on hot days and when I didnt have anything to drink for a couple of hours. After this happened a few times I looked it up and apperently dehydration is linked to greying out. From then on I have been much better at keeping myself hydrated.

^That will do it. It nearly happened to me a few times. A lot of people don't realize how fast a hot day at a park can dehydrate you. Thankfully since I am "older" I feel the effects sooner, which means I take breaks more often to make sure I am hydrated. ;)

A lot of parks offer free water, especially on hot days. You just have to ask. :)

Um, yeah, when the IP matches the one used in his posts on RRC, it's the same guy.

Pathetic. What grown up creates a false identity to be an attention whore online?

^ LOL @ "grown-up". You certainly have a broader definition of that term than *I* do... :~P

I like this thread....kinda gives a clearer indication of who's who... ;)

You'd have never thought twice about stopping at a Oasis and getting Hydrated now would you?

Chuck :)

The heat related complaints is what got me.

I've never thought of stopping by guest relations and telling them to turn up the AC.

^You mean there was heat! In the summer time?????

Global Warming strikes again!

There's a simple solution to all the nonsense. If you know you have a health condition, don't ride the ride, and keep yourself hydrated. Then there won't be any problems. I get dehydrated during the summer here in NJ. It should be common sense that this would happen in California.

Never have, wish I lived closer to Holiday World (its just past my day trip range at the moment) but Im a soda fiend, and unlike Gonch I definatly drank enough to come out ahead. Its the parks where I have to pay for soda or stand in a long line for water where its a problem :).

You guys are so ten years ago. It's not about PMS anymore - PMDD is all the rage now. (pun intended)

^^Yes you do! :)

Somebody find me Denis Leary's version of "I'm an ASO"! ;)

edit: Gonch messed up my ^arrows^ again....on a positive note, there's real health-related info in that link....from a "reputable" source.

REPUTABLE!

Funniest part of the article is where the kid complains about passing out on the ascent on Goliath - the zero g, under 10mph crawl up the lift! The only way Goliath could be any more safe for a person like that is if he only enjoyed the view from outside the station. *** Edited 4/4/2007 9:38:09 PM UTC by DBJ***

PMDD! The new excuse for women to be a b****. ;)

I think my couch is unsafe... I got up too fast and felt kind of dizzy.

I think I need to report this to somebody. I could have fallen down and bumped my head.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them".

If you're in the U.S. you can sue the manufacturer of your couch... Unless what you experienced is mentioned in the 25 pages of warnings at the beginning of your Couch User Manual!!!!!!!!!

I really hate that nowadays everyone sues everyone for anything. If it continues all roller coasters will be tamed down to kiddie rides... And BTW the ASO is all but objective and factual, I don't consider them as a valuable discussion partner. *** Edited 4/4/2007 11:37:25 PM UTC by Vallean***
