Arrow Loopers?

here's my 2 cents on Arrow loopers.

I LOVE ARROW! Regardless of it's intensity and sheer roughness, they're in a class all their own, and in my opinion will never be beaten by new technology. There is NOTHING like a front seat ride on SFGAM's shockwave. Just the design of the front car almost makes me break into tears since I can't ride it untill next year. But like Jeff said, some arrow's have really bad transitions, ESPECIALLY shockwave. I had a bruise on my neck from hitting that brake run for like 3 days!
Anywho, to sum it up, I think a little bounce hear and there is good. After all, you're more likely to fall asleep of MF than shockwave. :)

ARROW RULES!!!!!

Personally, I think Arrow loopers are pretty bad. The Vortex is the only good Arrow looper I've been on(but it sure is good!). I don't see what all the stuff about the Demon being great is. I find it fairly boring. I see posts that tout Arrows for their intensity, then I see posts saying the Demon is a good ride. What's up here?

One more thing - I think the Magnum is a great coaster. It gets better as you ride it more. Admittedly, I was disappointed the first couple of times I rode it, but now it's one of my favorites.
I have been on Demon at PGA and Viper at SFMM and they felt like any other coaster. I have been obn what people say are rough rides like Reveloution at SFMM and Kong, a Vekoma SLC, and they felt perfect!!! Demon is the smoothest Arrow because of what Jeff said. The turns make in rough and there is one helix on the whole ride at PGA. It only roles in the turn at about 20 M.P.H.

RIDDLER'S REVENGE: THE MOST UNDERRATED RIDE IN THE WORLD!
MAybe some parks have better insurence companies than others. It may also have to od with the fact that Arizona does not inspect theme park rides, so it is easier to use just a lap bar. The laps bars on Desert Storm, however, do come up pretty high and are very wide, not around the body, just wide.

Where would we be without the rumor mill?
Need I say how I feel?
Everyone keeps saying that they're waiting for the next big Arrow coaster: it's coming pretty dang soon. Anyone ever hear of X?
SFMM's Viper used to be such a pain in the head for me. But for some reason, I happened to not feel any displeasure riding it for the last few times that I did and actually found the ride to be very enjoyable and fun.
Anaconda is my Fav. coaster next to Volcano @ PKD. It has great transition through and between elements. The whole ride going over and underwater makes it a unique experience. I just can not get enough of Arrow coasters!

Drachen Fire, Will it be swimming with the fishies?
Whoa you need to get out more Mind Bender! Actually Volcano is my second favorite coaster, but Anaconda wasn't first or second place quality. But that's just my own opinion and I didn't mean to insult you or offend you so don't think that.

What is life with out coasters, geniuses, and/or SFA

"I will chime in with Florida Flier on this one. I cannot believe that some of you claim "no headbanging" on most Arrow Loopers! I must admit, Viper at SFMM was my favorite ride for quite a while, but that was before I knew inversions CAN happen without getting snot knocked out of you. Some laps are worse than others, but for the most part, Arrow loopers deliver big thrills and big pain.

There are a few smoothER Arrows out there, Demon @ PGA comes to mind, but even that is about the same as the roughest B@M I have ridden, Mantis.

Some people complain about B&M's large loopers (mostly floorless) as being too tame, well I would take a ride on Medusa(W) any day over Viper or Vortex (PKI). Besides B&M have plenty of different types of inversions, at least 12, (vertical loop, dive loop, incline loop, corkscrew, in-line twist, zero-G roll, cobra roll, sea serpent, immelmann, reverse immenmann, batwing, pretzle) while Arrow uses only about 4 different ones (vertical loop, corkscrew, batwing, pretzle). Correct me if I got some of the inversion names wrong.

Gotta ride 'em all!"

Vertical loop, corkscrew, batwing (similar to B&M's cobra roll), immelman, boomerang (similar to B&M batwing), pretzel (what's that?).

Arrow can't do zero g rolls because of their train and track design.

Personally, I have no problems whatsover with Arrow coasters. I'm pretty tall, nearly 5'11". Tenn. Tornado is the SMOOTHEST Arrow out there, I swear! I rode Steel Phantom last year and it wasn't bad at all.. it just jerked me around violently, but no headbangs... I think I'll call that a "feature" ;).

The Jet Coaster ROARS!
Is it just me, or do the loopers without OTRS's contain just the standard vertical loop? I am not sure you could take a corkscrew without some support for your head. Now I am not saying eveyone, but the average GP needs head support.
