Anyone have an Idea where they are goi9ng next year?

Oh yeah, forgot we had talked about Canada's Wonderland too. I got my passport in 2008 because I thought I'd be going there, but every year plans have fallen through. Now with Leviathan coming, we might make more of an effort. It's not even that far of a drive... although it would be much shorter if that pesky lake weren't in the way. ;)

For me...
(Domestic)
Six Fags Great Adventure
Six Flags over Texas

(TPR Europe Tour)
Parc Asterix
Europa Park
Heide Park
Holiday Park
Movie Park Germany
Euro Disney

I had plans. But, one of the kids' summer camps threw a spanner in the works. Waiting to see how that all shakes out.

I'd like to hit one or two amusement parks next year. We'll see. Also, we're thinking of possibly taking the kids to Disney World next fall/winter. If anything, plans will commence soon on the latter.

I'm more stoked about what's become a nearly annual family vacation in Outer Banks, NC this coming June.

See Card-Carrying Enthusiast, definition of.

Don't carry a card, sorry.

The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Aside from the traditional Cedar Point trips and HoliWood Nights, we hope to hit Canada's Wonderland. Many years since my last visit and my wife hasn't been there yet. Also:

Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Busch Tampa, Sea World Orlando, Universal Parks, Hershey, Dorney, and Jersey parks. Plus we will be making some Famous Dave's trips as well. Would like to do the one in Maui some time next year.

I have about 60 or so coasters before hitting #500, and my wife has about 30 to hit #200. We are hoping to hit these milestones next year.

Jerry - Magnum Fanatic
Famous Dave's- 206 restaurants - 35 states - 2 countries

HolidayWorld in the Spring, also would like to finally go to Indiana Beach, but with that parks uncertain future who knows. Six Flags Great America sometime next year, to ride their new ride. Will still be purchasing a CF platinum pass for next year, but not visiting CP next year. CP has grown so stale for me in recent years, but MiA is 10 miles from my house. And, most definitely a trip to Canada's Wonderland.

But, my 2011 year is not done yet. Heading to Florida for Christmas to visit my mom and dad in Tampa, so I will be hitting Busch, SeaWorld and both Universal Parks. Not bringing my niece and nephew this year, so not going to any Disney parks this year.

This is kind of random, but seeing posts about HWN made me think. Didn't I see someone post on here speculating that Coastermania is happening later this year due to an ACE convention? If that's the case, I might plan on heading to HWN for the first time.

Huh, I hadn't heard that, but apparently you're right: July 13, 2012. CP is hosting the ACE Spring Conference the weekend of May 19, so I don't know if that's the reason for the later CoasterMania.

Crazy. Our second is due in a week and a half.

They announced this year that there would be a big announcement concerning coasters at next years coaster mania so it looks like July 13 will be Cedar Points ride announcment . Seems a bit early

Yes, it does seem a bit early (if true). Being early might also mean big.

We'll be headed to Knoebels and Morey's, for sure.

Kid's swim team usually does a Dorney trip so I'll probably burn a vacation day and go on that. Going to try and get down to BGW this year after not having been since Drachen Fire was still operational, hopefully Colonial Williamsburg will be still selling those cheap BGW, Water Country USA passes.

No Disney World?

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

^^ Maverick was announced around Labor Day, but they had already started construction in July. So a July announcement for a coaster wouldn't necessarily surprise me, although it's a little unusual.

Actually, they started construction before the season even started. Many of the footers were already in place on media day for Skyhawk.

Going to Legoland and one of the Disney Parks this weekend. I don't have to wait until next year!

There is a chance we will make our first trip ever, to Kennywood, with my wife's family. They have been there many times.

We also want to try to make it to Hershey Park, during the same vacation, which will also be a first visit.

And maybe only one visit to Cedar Point next year...or two..no passes.

Subject to change without notice. :)
