'94 sounds 'bout right. The accident that forever changed TW happened soon after the retracking if memory serves. Or was it the colission that occured soon after the retracking? But I think that happened closer to '90 than '94. Maybe there was a prior retracking? It's been so long.
Back to the present--all of the turns need redone. The track guage is too lose. I can live with the rough spots at the bottom of hill. It's the awful shuffling from side to side through the turns that really kills the ride, ignoring the trim brake of course. *** Edited 5/9/2006 4:27:41 AM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

Swoosh said:Also update on the progress made on Timber Wolf. They have retracked the bobs turn, the entrance to the helix and as well as the first drop. The ride will be worked on again this week and I have will be closed again this coming weekend.
You are overstating the amount of retracking that has been completed. Some wood has been replaced in these areas, but the first drop, for example, has not been retracked.
I rode Timber Wolf this past weekend. It hasn't really improved much yet.

As of right now there are about 70 people pre-registered for the event. If you have not pre-registered you have until 18th to get your form in (or call). Please do so as I want there to be a large turnout for this event so that it will continue and become an annual event.
Just called in yesterday with 4 more, see you next Saturday.

RIP Thriller/Zonga...
Meanwhile, WoF, which I really believe was the most friendly of CF parks, has added a couple real good goodies since I was there. Is it time to get some cinnamon BBQ? ;)
Bill you really should go. Who cares if you are going to another event the next weekend. ;)
The OE stuff that I've seen recently is the T-shirts and tank tops (Swoosh is right about the price, $5) along with magnents. I haven't seen any Zinger stuff in years.
As for the original good reason, I took a couple of rides on TW over the last weekend and it is improved. The front row and back row provided some of the best rides I have had in years.
When I said OE / Zinger memorabilia, I was meaning like actual ride artifacts like wheels and chain dogs and signs and stuff like that. Hope there's some cool goodies like that up for grabs. *** Edited 5/10/2006 11:14:52 PM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***
