Another new Rocket for 2006...

Wow, it's so tiny. Thats going to have to be a strong launch to get it over that hill, the launch track is incredibly short. I love how it fades to white as you go up, then back down.

Yea that bunny hop does look delightful. I couldn't really tell but are those breaks on the bunny hop?

I didn't even notice the "fading" color. Pretty cool.
Man, that is going to have to be an insane launch to make it up there. I'm likeing it though. :)

i'm not sure what to put here..

Re: reliability, the buzzword for Intamin rockets. Let's see, Stormrunner, Rita, etc. seem to indicate that whatever Intamin HAS learned about this propulsion system works well on coasters up to say, 82 mph, plus or minus...coasters well over 100, the two that exist anyway, have had SERIOUS problems with showing that their launch systems are safe and reliable...

And some of them look FUN (Kanonen in particular)... :)

They've completed the top hat and started pull throughs...

I think it's funny that Intamin does pull-throughs on a coaster where there couldn't possibly be any clearance issues. Maybe they should focus less on pull-throughts and more on decent restraints and reliable launch systems.

Rob, aren't the pull throughs also done to make sure the track is put together right, no bumps or whatever.

You know, apull through isn't just there to check clearance...

The only difference between genius and insanity is success! Cheers, DragonKhan
Pardon my ignorance, and I'm probably going to catch it for this, but what's a pull-through?

Exactly what it sounds like. They use a crane to slowly pull the train through the course.

Here's one of my favorite photos of a pull through on Millie, with the clearance 'thingy' attached.
