Aesthetically striking Coaster(s)

Lightning Racer! Looks like a work of art. Any of GCI coasters are all real pretty.
I'll go with the Mean Streak folks. One of the prettiest coasters anywhere, especially from the water.

Great American Scream Machine at SFOG has always been very pretty and ranks up there, too. (like Miss Georgia)

I couldn't take my eyes off the Coney Island Cyclone, either. It seemed so perfectly roller-coastery, or something. And all those clones kinda do that for me, too. Astroworld's was gorgeous, especially early on, and SFOG's is nice looking, too. (like 1st runner-up Miss Georgia. Not quite as pretty, but her talent was better...)

I totally agree that just about any GCI coaster looks like a work of art. Just as just about any wooden coaster is a beautiful thing. Two non-GCI coasters that I find visually impressive are both Summers Dinn coasters in Mean Streak at CP and Predator at Darien Lake
Mean Streak looks nice, I'll give it that. I forgot about the two Giant Dippers in California. Those are two beauties.
I like how Twister stands tall at Knoebels, so as you walk in past the water park/Crystal Pool it just sorta looms there, then walking up towards it you don't see much until you are out from under the trees and you gotta look up to see it. I remember my brother first seeing it then saying he just had "second thoughts" when we first came out into the "twister plaza". :)
I've never been to Holiday World but The Voyage looks striking.

And since SFNE is my home park, I feel obligated to mention SROS. I like the view of the Connecticut river and how the ride snakes behind some of the buildings.

Hershey's Wildcat and Lightning Racer (especially at night), and Cedar Point's Mean Streak.
-To me, any woodie with chasing lights (ie LR, Wildcat, Blue streak)

-Lockness Monster, lake, interlocking loops, fantastic

-MF especially at night

-Mean Streak

-Batman TR and Priemer Spaghetti Bowls (due to their evil genius/how in the world does this coaster not crash into itself factor)

-The Disney Mountains, but thats because of their themeing

-Also the part of the Hulk you see (ie the gamma tube, zero g, cobra roll and loop) is pretty impressive

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

Pretty much any wood coaster with chasers looks good at night. As much as I love Great White, the floodlights don't work for me as much as a set of chasers would.
Goliath Belgium is photogenic

But in person? I'd have to go with any mega-woodie with chaser lights. Too cool above all that structure.

Predator at darien lake does look great right next to the water at dusk.

Its sad when your best friend asks you the exact running time of a ride. Good thing I didnt know.

Nitro and High Heel Dragqueen (HHD)? well, to each his own I guess :)

The Texas Cyclone (RIP) was always a site. All that jumbled up track. The Revolution (again, RIP) at MM, that loop, perched up high...

Anything, all tangled up, at Indiana Beach. Anything at Kennywood as well. The Jack Rabbit's neon, the T-bolt or the red Racer, all beautiful!

Some good choices mentioned.

Good one about Darien Lakes Predator - I had forgotten how that ride looked until it was just mentioned.

Kemahs Boardwalk Bullet is quite striking, particularly around sunset with the sun going down on the bay. (The ride itself rocks too, btw)

The Voyage is striking because of the mega large scale of it that is presented to the riders who approach it, having no idea of how long it is or that the intense stuff happens far out in the woods.

Both Giant Dippers, while marred by horrendous Morgan trains, are visually quite nice, with the edge going to Santa Cruz.

The Coney Cyclone (and GA Cyclone) too - the symmetry of that classic design.

The long defunct Lakeside, VA Shooting Star was another one that I remember being visually pretty - it anchored one side of that park.

But the tops, just because of that station, has to be the Lakeside, Denver Cyclone with that classic art deco station.

Mr. Twister (the original) was very attractive too, all that gleaming white wood.

Lightning Racer before they put that stupid display sign (or whatever it is) in front of it was quite nice.

Ozark Wildcat and Thunderhead of course as well.

I'm sure there's more - just a few I could think of off the top of my head.

Lakeside Cyclone!

And I still love the Great America Demon, having grown up on the ride...

El-Toro.... to me the massive structure and the awesome looking turn around win me over.

Nitro is the greatest.

So, I really like coasters with a tad of orange.
I like the looks of Talon and Tatsu for that matter.
The aestetics of the looks is one aspect that got me into coasters in the first place, and some of the pics I really liked looking at as a kid, starting me off, were shots of Colossus at SFMM - the white wood maze with it's plays of light and shade really can be/was something.

At the time, I also like the way the Arrow coasters were spreading terror already by their agressive and freaky looking spinal track.

Aestetically pleasing - I think duelling dragon needs not to remain unmentioned.
And did I say the most amazingly themed coaster on the planet 'Black Mamba' yet?

But maybe they just all look amazing and I can't decide...

airtime for everyone
Some ariel photos of The Texas Giant are very impressive. For steel coasters, I think Dragon Khan is beautiful. Both in photos and in person. It's a mess of track but, it flows like a symphony.
The Comet at Great Escape also looks great, but I thought it looked alot better sitting on the lake at Crystal Beach

Ditto. I remember seeing a picture of that ride in Roller Coaster magazine when it first opened and I thought it was the most beautiful coaster I'd ever seen. Who knew that Summers could design a coaster with such classic lines?

Even though its a copycat, looking at the structure of Jokers Jinx/Flight of Fear is always intersting. Like, "how much track can we possibly fit into one small space".
