Aesthetically striking Coaster(s)

I really love the look of "Nitro". I like how those three main supports on the lift hill and first drop look from many angles in the park. Which other coasters do you feel are also incredibly looking?
All the nymphos are going to say Top Thrill Dragster or Kingda Ka.
LOL..............very true indeed!
I know many might disagree with me, but I really like how Superman: The Escape looks, probably due to the sheer size of the structure. Whenever I hear it launching, I always tend to watch it, no matter where I am and what I'm doing.
For me I would have to say Kraken, the color scheme is outstanding (even if it is now faded). The surrounding green landscape, the retention pond and canal complement the ride from just about any angle. I think it looks best when I am driving down International Drive, especially at night.

I like Superman: The Escape for it's size as well. Very imposing structure that hints and the kind of ride you will experince.

I think Son of Beast is an AMAZING looking coaster! But I have to say, the ride has gotten better....
Dan, when I rode it I was more impressed with the height, length and speed then the ride experience. I look foward to giving it another try one of these days to see how it's running just based on comments like yours and others.

Mean Streak at night. I don't know how many times I've stayed at Lighthouse Point and thought, "Wow, that's cool."

Of course, the ride itself sucks, but it sure is purdy. The boaters coming in and out of the bay like it too.

Superman is a complete and utter snoozefest. The intensity of the launch has been far surpassed by the Intamin Rocket coasters and the ride hasn't hit 100MPH in years. Sure the tower might still look imposing but that's all it has going for it.

My first and only time on Superman was in 2000. I enjoyed it.

Though I agree with you 100% about the ride experience, you'll be hard to find any general public guests getting off Superman and calling it an "utter snoozefest." Nor are many of them aware that "Intamin Rocket Coasters" have long since surpassed it in acceleration.

I think if MM painted it the yellow, blue, and red color scheme that they were working I think it would probably be the coolest looking coaster out there, but I like the way Black Mamba looks, like a snake slithering through the park.

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

When I rode it way back in 2000 it was the heighest ride I had ever been on to date. That alone to me was scary. LOL!

Millie is also very impressive looking at night! The lights on the lift hill structure in the moonlight is astonishing... I mean, pretty sweet ;)!
I have to agree that MF at night is without a doubt an eye feast!
On our way out of the Soak City lot on Sunday afternoon, my wife and I both commented on how a ride as awful as Mean Streak could look so amazingly cool.

Wood coasters in general are very striking. Volcano at KD and Everest at DAK also

Watching The Big Bad Wolf swoop down over the water at BGE is a pretty sight.

Lightning Racer, Kumba, Great White, Phantom's Revenge, Dueling Dragons and Racer (KI) are all visually pleasing. I'm definitely on the mindset that coasters are a work of art.
