what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I rode Storm Runner and Kindga Ka with these trains. I have to say they don't offer the smoothest ride. Also on storm Runner I remember bouncing off those thin parts of the over the shoulder buckel. Maverick has alot more turns then Storm Runner.
I like the fun roller coasters with small dips and quick turns.
I've ridden trains with this type of restraint on KK, Storm Runner, RITA and Stealth. I find them all extremely comfortable and well-designed. I really don't see the problem.
There not that bad on SR but on KK they suck. When I ride KK a few times in a row the OTSR leave big black&blue marks on my shoulders and hurt you when your going down the tower. I'm sure they will not be as bad as KK as long as they don't have that painfull Vibration as KK.
I wonder why it has OTSR's. With only 3 inversions, it doesn't seem necessary. I'm willing to be enlightened... :) *** Edited 2/24/2007 3:25:12 PM UTC by ilovethewildone***
It may just be because I am a taller person. I have been on storm runner, and it was painful to me. Again, I think it has to do with me being so tall(6'3).

IIRC, a CP rep said that OTSR's are being used because they are more accommodating. A OTSR can be somewhat slack and there is still no way for you to wiggle your way out. Especialy these. With a T-Bar, there is less room for forgiveness and in-turn more people have problems fitting. If you don't like these OTSR's and you can't fit on MF or TTD, then my guess would be that there is probably not many new or recently built Intamin's you'll be ridding or enjoying anytime soon.
