I wonder how much the new quick scan system works, and manages to stop people. Another thing I noticed at SF Great America is a large yellow CANNABIS AMNESTY BOX with something about it being your last chance. Could the system really detect weed and if so is that a good thing? People have been much calmer in the park than the last couple.

Maybe its just park employees looking to score some free weed.

But seriously, what do they mean by “last chance”? Is pot legal there anyway? Or is it “last chance before you get caught?”
Maybe some of these parks need a firearm amnesty program as well.
When we were at Cali’s Great America there was a literal cloud over the park. I was ok with that, but I was hoping the ride ops weren’t picking up a contact high.

Went to Kennywood Saturday night. Attendance was definitely lighter, but the queues were still fairly full. There were noticeably more police but they were pretty much just standing around chatting with one another waiting for something to happen.

We tried the uncharge house "Malice in Wonderland" which they included with our season passes. It was way too short an experience to charge for and expect people to wait as long as we did. Do not recommend. Thunderbolt was running great in the cooler temps. I feel like that's its natural speed.

There are restrictions but as a general rule no possession is not illegal in Illinois. However, Six Flags does state on their website that cannabis or derived products cannot be possessed or consumed on their property.
