Moosh:The Ride. That's all you need to know. (sigh)

Yeah right!!!

You'd make a pretty damn boring ride, kinda like Iron Dragon.

I bet they would offer flash pass for it.;)

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I can see the ads now: "Come Ride the all-new MOOSH! It's got more hills than Pennslyvainia, and more curve than Beyonce! It's got wood made of steel, and above all, it's ALWAYS open!"

It's much better than Taylor swift's video.

SF has never been very good at regulating the ride queues. When they introduced pay-to-cut, they were offering a way to bypass the line that they never seemed to care about moving quickly in the first place, which is a huge conflict of interest. Who gets the short end of the stick? The ones who don't or can't get flashpass for whatever reason.

GREAT point. Not only that, they advertise ride waits as longer than they actually are (60 minutes from this point) and on the same sign, below, it says something like 'why wait - get flash pass!' a clear slap in the face.

Even worse, SFGAm was littered with orange flyers advertising Flash Pass that employees (who could be up on the platforms, filling seats). uck... If SF worked on sincerely treating their guest with care (I think first of Holidayworld, but hell, even to a CF standard...) then they would really have something to boast about, and would have real reasons to brag.

Sorry, but I deleted my post after seeing that there were two more pages that I missed, and the discussion had flourished into many other awesome directions. I also didn't want to start really getting into flashpass in this thread, as it seems to slowly kill a topic sometimes.

Believe me, I know how to debate flashpass. Sometimes it's not the right place or right time to do so though.

It's you an me against the world, Demon. :-P

So, what is the capacity of M:TR? I would think that it would be pretty good, if it could get any riders. Probably about one rider per 5 minutes? lol

Is it more like a Power Tower or a Frog Hopper? :)

Lol, Crazy Horse. Let Taylor Swift have her time, why doncha?

I'd much rather have them post a longer than actual time than a shorter time. It means that Flash Pass users will have to wait longer and it means that I will never be surprised by the length of the wait AFTER investing a large portion of it.

I don't know what people's issue with Mitch's poll is (beyond the fact that it is a poll). If a handful of people ride a ride (say, T-Express hypotheticaally) and they all say it's better than anything anywhere, why would anyone believe anything different?

By AT's methodology, you really have to ride all the rides in a given category to have a 100% valid opinion, but people can and do vote having not ridden any rides in a category. Is that preferrable?

(And just to tack on a pet peeve: Why does it seem like people complain about the *methodology* of a poll when the *result* differs from their personal opinion? You don't see too many people say, "I completely agree with the results of this poll, but it's still flawed" or "This poll makes sense, even though I disagree with it." Well, maybe they just don't post here.)

Personally the only poll I care about is my own. Im now at the point where I feel that I have sampled enough parks and rides that I can pretty much judge if I will like a new ride/park before I go 85% of the time and then I have this site and other coaster forums to read that can bump up my guess to close to 99% and thus can plan my trips accordingly.

Who says you have to ride something to appreciate it?

Son of Beast looks great!!! But those who have ridden it hate it. I have no opinion on the latter as I haven't ridden it. Of all the pictures I have seen of wooden coasters I like White cyclone the best. To vote it as best wooden coaster without riding it would be silly. Alway use the addage "don't judge a book by it's cover"...
