Ok well I was just on the Six Flags website and I decided to check out the park map, I am not sure if this is still last years or not but Psyclone and Flashback are still there, but what suprised me was STE only had one side posted on the map and I know from my last visit there only one side was running but it still suprised me, also Scream has trees all around its outside but I am not sure about everything else on the account of my souvineer map is not in my possession at the moment.
That map is old. The 2003 map had trees around Scream! too. And Superman has always been depicted like that, even when it first opened and was running both sides simultaneously.

reopening of Skytower, etc.)
Alot of reports seem to say Skytower is barely open, is that true?
As of today, Psyclone is no longer standing. :)

What is the point of Sky Tower being open. You go up an elevator, and look around. That's not some big attraction unless you are an enthusiast. Big deal. I understand Six Flags closing that thing. It's not a ride like the Sky Trek Tower at Six Flags Great America. I like that ride, but this isn't the same thing.
Why do people go up the Eiffel towers at the former Paramount parks, or the real Eiffel tower, the space needle, or the St Louis Arch. It's all about the vviieew maaann. It would be cool if they could put some kind of snack bar or food place up there.

What is the point of your post? Why do any rides exist? Why do people like coasters? Why do people like flat rides? Why are people straight? Why are people gay?
What's a big attraction to you? Rollercoasters?
Your one-track minded ignorant posts (plural as in it's not just this thread) just baffles me.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
The only disappointment I experienced after I had my upset stomach propelled upward in the elevator was that the viewing platform was enclosed with glass windows, obstructing the access to fresh air, a thing so desireable in a coaster fan's afternoon puke prevention intermission.
Wondering why this was, this does prevent people from throwing anything including themselves down onto the Samurai hill.
:o)
The view IS great though, you can see all the coasters from above and also some of the surrounding valley.
It's like being weightless on STE, but much longer and less weightless of course.

A ride like Riddler's Revenge can run 2 trains in the winter, and in the summer. The reason is because it has 3 trains. Goliath has 2, and it's like Batman. Deja Vu can only close because it only has one.
So, what the park needs to do in order for these rides to have 2 trains during the summer, and at more times is to buy more trains for Batman, Goliath, Revolution, Colossus, and X (because of nature of that ride). Yes, this is a lot of money, but in order for 2 trains to always be working, it would definitely. Now, are they going to spend that much money?? I really doubt it. I see Tatsu they bought enough.
This is why Disneyland, and Disney World always have multiple trains on there rides. The reason is because they have so many. How many do they have on California Screamin? Is it 4, or 5? It's a lot. I know that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has 5. Matterhorn Bobsleds has a ton.
So, the problem to solve this is to buy like Tatsu. Have an extra train. I guess Tatsu can run 3 trains with 2 sides. Get an extra train even if it can't fit on the track like Batman. So, that's why roller coasters are always down. I learned this from a PR person.
If you can figure out how to possibly run every roller coaster with 2 trains (except Deja Vu), please tell me. I can't figure it out. I want to find a way. A lot of the roller coasters have to be closed in the winter (when they open) to do that.
Six Flags Over Texas has a lot of there roller coasters down during Holiday in the Park. This is why (rehab). They have no time otherwise. They have 2 months they are closed.
