2005 CP ride announcement

Reliable sources tell me it has something to do with TTD and a certain restaurant chain looking to build to new heights.

That's all I'm saying at this point :)

Ride thru - they'll toss ribs at you as you go over the top of TTD and if you can catch any, they're free!

Would they have to put up a huge net off the tower to catch the ribs that aren't caught? You know, a rib to the head from 420' can't feel good. I'm sure someone will complain "what about the children!?!" Plus, barbeque sauce in the eye hurts like a mofo. Yea, definitely need a net, or just build a giant one of those dog funnels, that way they can recycle the used ribs and sauce ...

i think what they should do is just tear down the mean streak and put in a 250' floorless coaster or something like that. We need a B&M twister in the park. ya ya ya Mantis i know. i am 6'7 and it is a complete "*****" (can i say ***** in CB?) for me to ride that my nuts and sholdrs hurt so bad after i get off of that ride. I love the ride but maybe somehtign a little bit user friendly would be nice.

Seriously though... I don't think we'll see a coaster this year. I think they want to get some focus on Geauga Lake and will probably shine the spotlight on it for this season while CP quietly adds a small ride or improves its landscaping. I think '06 will be the year to watch.

ya jim bob i agree compleatly, geauga lake needs alot of recovery after being a six flags park. i felt so bad for that park a couple years ago. i used to love going to geauga lake. went atleast twice a year. i think i went twice the whole time it was six flags and thats becasue they were both paid for.

I also agree that it will be 06' its usally been 3 years between big attractions. or it has for the last two rides anyways. i just don't understand what they could put in that wouldn't seem like a dissapointment compared to MF or TTD.

To me TTD was a disappointment after MF but to each his/her own.

I'd like to see CP do the unexpected but my hopes aren't high for that.

i compleatly agree i mean just look at my name. but i mean as far as how high or fast its hard to top that with a full circuit coaster. TTD is a good ride but it will never be as good as MF. I just consider MF and TTD to be like the one two punch of CP. it will just be hard for them to top what they have accomplished. They are so far ahead of everyone else that they always have to come up with the unthinkable to step up.

I see your point MForce Aholic. My feeling is that MF and TTD complement each other more than they do compete with each other.

The last coaster CP built that made me think, "Wow, I gotta travel from LA to ride this!" was Millie.

MF was in 2000....Wicked Twister was in 2002...and TTD was in 2003...

I would consider all of those big attractions. Theres not 3 years in between them. Maybe between MF and TTD but theres a coaster in the middle so ya never really know what they are thinking.

I think they are starting on something in the park because all of their park webcams are offline and archived for a few days ago. Then again i could be wrong.

To me the unexpected would not be a coaster. If it is a coaster it should be something completely different and that doesn't necessarily mean setting records.

They could set different records....it doesn't have to be height records all the time.
