$12mil. could get what size B&M ?

a B&M is going to cost you alot but at least it won't break down all the time, and oh yeah its the best of the best.

Well you have to take into account all the ground work and things of that nature.  I dont believe that is figured into the cost.  It might be but Im really not sure.

Take a Virtual Ride:

Mike "Viper"

According to that site either they cost 10 or 12 million .  If you are serious about this contact the real people.  Call Six Flags in NYC, they can help you figure things out a bit.
According to RCDB

Alpengeist cost 20 million

Chang cost 12 million

Mantis cost 12 million

Medusa cost 15 million

Raptor 11.5 million

Riddlers Revenge cost 14 million

Talon cost 13 million

If you want to know for sure though i would contact B&M themselves.

Man, It is crazy how prices have jumped up in the past 3 to 4 years. A while back I was talking with pinfari about one of there coasters, and the guy I talked to said something about an exchange rate along with the purchase of the ride, and sid it could affect us negativly or positivly in the future when the ride is purchased. Does any one know what exactly an exchange rate is ?

I like to Idea beastnum 1 had, about a B&M Vertical, there is not one in Texas nor the U.S. and that would realy attract people from all over the contry, and even the world. If it was $7mil. in 98, then does anyone have an Idea of what size a vertical drop could be purchased for $12 mil. ?
And one more thing, Nitro really cost $22,000,000 ?   Dang!! I thought it was only $15 to $17  mil. I did'nt know B&Ms cost that much!!

Titan Fan, it would be awesome if you started a park in Texas. How are you going to do it though? Where will you get the $ from?
If I remember right, SFoT (or someone) stated that the '99 BTR model cost $11 million... Or around that.....

Nitro was almost the cost of Millennium Force?!?!?!

"You say you'll pay me $10,000 to go a week without going to coasterbuzz?!?!?! Not on your life!!!"

If your building a park, and you have 12mill, why blow it all on one B&M? Beemers are great, but why not get 2 or 3 CCI's and have a few million left to spare?
The prices seem to be getting larger as this goes on. If a company builds something for the first time at a park, and charge 15 million, the ride becomes immensley popular, they will not charge the next people 17 for the same thing. The next park will probally want to pay less. One of the biggest technological advances there is just happens to be bringing the goods for less money. Some of these prices sound like guesses, and may be too high. You have to remember, a million dollars is alot of money, two million is TWICE that much. The MB Hurricane cost 6 million, and it's wood track with steel supports! 12 for something like AC or RB sounds about right. Although 20 something(?), maybe they've factored the cost for the land, landscaping, many things to come up with 20 for Nitro. Although, I'm thinking the EuroStar is running a high bill, too. Maybe that much a difference in height may severely impact cost, so Nitro may have cost signifigantly more due to height.
You're actually gonna make a park? Cool, I guess. I live in Kentucky, so if it's in Texas I'll probably never get there, but don't build a B&M. 12 million dollars could get you probably 2 CCI or GCI wooden coasters, with some left for some cool flat rides.
Read the thread title. It says "$12mil. could get what size B&M?" so he has thought of a $12m B&M and probably has more planned for land, CCI (s) landscapings, rides, etc. Don't freak out just because he want's a B&M, it's going to be his park.

G.Bush:We will find those who did it, smoke them out of their holes, get them running, and bring them to justice.
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
Altogether, Oblivion Cost £12 Million($20 Million in US Dollars) But I believe the actual cost of the coaster was 8 million, while An Extra 3/4 million was spent Digging the Huge hole, And Building the New Area for the Coaster

Are you really considering building a park in Texas or somewhere, Not to put your idea Off, But you do realise you will need millions more to start up a theme park, you will have to consider more rides, Plus Landscaping,Car Parks,Road/Train Access, and anything else you are considering. But if you are thinking of an idea like this, then Good Luck to you:)

Wow, G5 looks awesome, A nice coaster to get would be a B:TR model, it's small, probably cheaper than other beemers, and it's a great intense ride.

B&M+SFGAm=3 excellent coasters.

The Reason I chose to go with B&M Costers is because the are very neat, smooth, and have a good pace. And the are good "Money Makers" too. Those pictures of G5 and Oblivion are pretty cool ! I have really looked into the B&M Dive Machine's the past 2 days, and given it some thought. I think I may go with this one, only I would like to get some opinons.

I found out it's a 180ft drop overall, with 65 ft of it over ground. That puts 115 ft of it under ground. Now what it it was the other way around, and the 115 ft was above ground and the other 65 ft under, than it would be bigger and be seen from the steets around. That way it would attract more people.

What do you all think ?

And for other rides, I am looking in to a couple of Pinfari rides: ARIA(a compact invert with 6 inv.) and that used one RC70, the one with 2 loops and a corksrew. The reason I am looking into compact rides is for futre ref. to have more room for expansion in the futre and be able to get bigger rides.

I will also look over CCI & GCI coasters, and get some ideas and prices. What is the web address for these 2 manufactures ?

Don't look down-Oblivion
I think the dive machine is a good idea, but i would try and make a little bigger then the rest.  And i wouldn't go for a invert till i could get a B&M one.  A question i need to ask though is how long before you acctually will have the park done, 3 or 5 years, cause within' that time a dive machine could pop up in the US.  Oh and GCI coasters are awsome.
