For those of you unfamiliar, it's right off of the turnpike at exit 59 (about 60 miles from CP). If you book it at that rate, be prepared to fight for it - I'm sure they'll try to say it's an "obvious" mistake and will try to not honor it.
Or maybe they really do have THAT hard of a time getting people to stay in Toledo! :)

You think people like R.Kelly, Tommy Lee, and (insert favorite ballplayer) are staying at the local "Mircotel"? Nope. They are more likely at the Ritz Carleton.
My wife has worked in the hotel industry her entire life and we have a good number of friends who do too. (makes it easy for coaster travel) You'd be surprised at the number of "name" guests that the $89 to $159 a night hotels get. A lot more than I ever imagined...
Granted that's not exactly "Microtel" or "Motel 6" level, but it's still low middle (Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Courtyard, Hilton Garden, Residence Inn, etc)

As for the Quality Inn, once you have the confirmation (they e-mail it right away) with the price on it, it'd be awfully hard for the hotel to argue otherwise. It doesn't look like a dive at all. The regular rates go past $100. Indoor pool and jacuzzi too.
Sure, it might be a mistake -- or maybe it's deliberate. Notice that the rates scroll from highest to lowest so maybe they're testing if folks will scroll that far for design psychology. When you get down to it, Choice Hotels will still make a couple of bucks profit off your stay that wouldn't have happened otherwise. Anyone here seriously planning on staying in Toledo before the $10 rate popped up? It's an incremental sale.
An empty room is a loss. A room at $10 more than covers the maintenance-billing with the possibility of some long-distance surcharges or pay-per-view (if it has that) to boot.
