Should have quit after the Jaws one with being #1 (no guesses and 8 seconds). 14 guesses and 1:35 today. Had a couple with only one unrevealed letter which I thought would be last place. People whose phone battery died or who took a call while playing and never went back to finish kept me out of the cellar, I guess. Confident I can reach last place though.

My wife could wind up in last place with today's. She failed to solve before guessing all the letters.

Somehow I got 8th yesterday, that must have been tough for everyone. Liz got 69 out of 71, so two people actually took longer than 2:21 to fill in all the letters without solving.

That's crazy (er, Phrazy?). I'm convinced that some people have certain phrases so at the front of their mind that the pattern recognition is instant. I was 27/71 yesterday, so yeah, people struggled indeed.

I tend to study the blank phrase for quite a while, especially with phrases that start with revealed punctuation, to see if I can figure it out. I couldn't with this one, but once I picked a letter it came to me almost instantly. It helps that I love the source of that particular phrase.

A couple of days late, but probably the best I'll ever do:
