This audience would not likely appreciate this, but I gave a talk today at Orlando Code Camp about how Phrazy is made.

Been a while since I aced one (or even got 1st).

Lately I’ve been starting my mornings in bed with a Phrazy puzzle. This morning, however, I received an error message.

“We couldn’t find a new puzzle.”

Not sure what I’m going to do with myself today, I didn’t realize how accustomed to playing each morning I had become! 🫶🏻

Based on Jeff's weekend activities I suspect the next Phrazy puzzle might be, "The Wonderful World of Cruising".

Well I tried to be cute but it won't put the spaces in it. Have to use hyphens instead.

Bummed to hear that. I haven't been on it every day like I was at the beginning, but I really thought it had potential to take off.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised it never got much more than 30 or 40 users a day. No interest from the NYT?

Hahaha, no, I don't think they're in the market for a hangman knock off. But have you tried Digits? It's brutally hard. The problem is that you can finish the game with less than perfect, but I can't play it to less than perfect, so I never finish.

Just tried it. I've never been that good with math but I got through it ok...and perfect, I guess?

Tried it.
Didn't seem super hard, but very unsatisfying. Puzzles 1,2,3 and 5 I got within a few seconds. Puzzle 4 I ended up just randomly mashing things together until it worked (obviously not completely randomly, but I didn't have a particularly coherent search pattern).

They were mostly easy today. I've had some hard ones in the last week.
