Looks... chocolatey. Did Willy Wonka build it?

That moment when your files are two of the most popular for the week and a third is the most popular of all time in the Steam workshop for Parkitect.

You're well on your way to another pinball machine or something.

That's probably because the game is not very popular.

But, Seriously, I really enjoyed Dark Village a lot. That coaster has excellent pacing.

Hell, that flume with the turn at the bottom of the drop has been downloaded over 3000 times. Somebody's buying and playing this game.

Which is more than we can say about RCTW.

Trying to decide if I want to stick with the vanilla game or start using some of the mods and scenery that have been made. Gonch especially, any thoughts on that end? I've browsed Nexus a few times, but...it just seems a little odd for mods since the game isn't complete yet.

I find the mods overwhelming at times.

It's a personal thing, but I think I work best with limitations. When too much is possible, I just shut down because my mind goes too many places. When I'm limited, I'm also focused. I've worked both ways - with and without. Right now, I'm very much feeling the plain vanilla game.

The mod thing is surprisingly consistent given the constant flux of the game. That much I can say.

If you're feeling a little stifled with the plain vanilla, pick a mod or two and give it a test run. I download almost all of them, I just turn them off. But they're there if I'm feeling froggy.

Kind of holding off on doing anything big until the next build comes out, but I threw together this Wild Mouse for this month's Nexus contest.

I was hoping to get this on sale during the Steam Summer Sale, but it isn't marked down. Not really surprising since it's still fairly new and in early access.

That just came up on Reddit. You're pretty much correct.

I like it when you post videos of your rides. And that dramatic music makes it seem like an epic action adventure movie. LOL

Nice coaster though. Tame, fun for the kids. Not too scary, but some interesting thrills. I'm noticing that your coasters have a unique style, unless that's how they all look due to restraints of gameplay of rules of a particular entry or something.

The requirement on these mouse coasters is that the track must fit into a 10x15 footprint.

Current project:

The idea is to create a full map park in Alpha 3 using only the vanilla game with no mods. No plan, no ideas. Just making it up as I go along. And I'm recording the entire process and sharing them as time lapse construction videos to boot.

Oh yeah, I'm living it.

Here's the playlist if you have the desire and patience to see how random and nonsensical my building process is:

Full Park Alpha 3 Build Series

I have about half-ish of the map done. The videos are way behind as I'm trying to spread them out, uploading every few days. I'll make the park file available after it's finished.
