The game has moved from pre-Alpha to Alpha and goes to Steam next week.
Just a simple blueprint trying to create a sort of waterfall. I'm sure someone could take a little time with this idea and flesh it out into something really great, but here's the proof of concept.
Gonch , that's pretty cool. I think like MF overbank would be cool to go up in that area.
MF Crew 2006
Magnum's 3rd hill is the best airtime hill out of all the coasters in the world!
I think I have the mine theme/log flume thing out of my system now.
Now that the game is on Steam, files can also be shared on Steam Workshop. However, no mods are used on the Workshop. This forced me to go back to simpler design ideas. So here's a racer/dueler.
That video is great. Recalls so many horrible car dealership radio and TV commercials.
EDIT: Also, being able to pick this up for (I think) $17 is very, very tempting.

Churning them out while I can.
Thrillpocalypse
The amusement facility for your dystopian future.
I would like to mention, I was inspired to do this after stumbling across a pic of an old RCT park I did that was dated May 6, 2004:
Finally a hiccup in my love for the game.
The newest version accounts for blocks in that a train waits for the block ahead to be clear. That's a major plus. Was so happy it was finally being implemented.
So what's the problem? The developers and a majority of the casual players don't understand that the lift is a block. So now a train won't leave the station until the midcourse is clear. It ****s timing up bad and the coaster operation is more broken than it was before. At least you could compensate with dispatch timing previously. Now you have to add superfluous blocks to act almost as "checkpoints" to get things running correctly. It's a worse solution to me.
I had to do the unthinkable and play the enthusiast card. I am so embarrased.
Any Reddit users want to head over and explain how coaster work?

Yeah, that's a surprising oversight. "Everyone" knows the lift is a block. Just ask the people who had to evacuate Sheikra this week. :)

Hopped on the Parkitect train the other night, though I've only gotten around an hour and a half of play time so far. I kind of like the zone system for employees, reminds me a bit of the zone system when I worked at Cedar Point, but I also wish it was tied to employee types, and not universal for all employees (janitors are better in small areas, mechanics and haulers have a larger area they would be effective in, functionally). The coaster building system is interesting, and I appreciate the much increased flexibility it has as a piece system, but it doesn't feel "intuitive," at least not yet. The art style is slowly growing on me. I think my next goal is going to be playing around with the building pieces and seeing how I feel about those.
Also, dropped a note in the Reddit thread about the lifts being blocks for you, Gonch. ;)
Yes, lifts are almost always blocks, and not counting the lift as a block is a giant mistake.

Awww. If you start bringing your stuff around, I'm going to look bad.
Seriously nice designs.

I bring my stuff around so it looks good because your stuff looks so good ;) lol. Honestly, you do some great stuff. It sure is good to be designing stuff next to you again, though, just like the old RCT2 days.
Certain victory.
