Piles of wood arriving at Holiday World. (Normally not news, but the tweet gives it meaning. :)
Coasterbuzz - Coaster enthusiasts, but so much more. We're the good ones.
If there was ever an awesome ride that deserved a re-do it's Legend. It's a particularly interesting coaster in that Will Koch, after his (surprise?) hit coaster Raven, was striving for an experience that would be appealing and thrilling to all, but would have appeal to enthusiasts as well. Well traveled and trusted enthusiasts were consulted in its design, in fact. Will's last hurrah (sadly) was Voyage and I think Legend then became somewhat overshadowed. But it's got a great layout, particularly from the turn off the lift into the first drop and then clear through the out and back section, really. The tunneled helix and the return to the station add unexpected length to the ride, and in my opinion Legend is quite satisfying.
Unfortunately, the last ride I had on it was brutal, but 'back in the day'? It was great. I remember some coaster event when the ride was new, probably a HoliWood Nights, when we rode it 29 times in a row until what, 1 a.m.? So if the original experience can be closely restored (and I don't care how) it would be fantastic.
Oh, and I doubt that I'll ever ride it 29 times in a row again, but a time or two (or three) would be great....
Did you think that if you deleted your post from 12 days ago and reposted it today that no one would notice, or you would be more likely to get a response that isn't already common knowledge?

I was there the first week of June. The Voyage was coming to a dead stop before the triple down . When the train stopped people were like whats up?!But The Legend was running off the hook. Fast and furious. It doesn't need to be changed. The left side of my body was sore as hell from the lateral g forces.
Legend and Voyage are both too much to be re-ridable for most people. I know this is shocking to enthusiasts, but most people do not want to be beat up.
