Email / PM links in profiles

Email link gives a 500 - Server Error. PM pops up a 404.

Not sure if you're aware =)

Weird, I don't see anything in the error log, and it works for me. Was it for a specific user? What page you were you on?

If I hit your name in this thread, View Full Profile and then use either link, I get the errors.

I was getting those at home, but also get them at work. Seems to be for any user.

Also, credz for the error messages.

I just check and I'm getting the error too. (Windows 7 Pro, IE 11)

It works fine for me. I'm using:

Desktop - OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 - Safari 8.0.7

iPodTouch - iOS 8.4 - Safari

Yeah, it works if I click on a username and immediately click Send E-mail, but if I click Full Profile to open the user's profile in a new tab, and then click Send [Username] an e-mail message it throws a 404. Also, if I click Send [Username] a private message it throws a 500. Same in both Chrome and Firefox.

Ah... I see... I too was looking at the mini-profile inline on the thread. That's a crappy regression. Thanks for catching it. Fixed.

Good tech support requires good knowledge of the system. Good tech support is someone who can take a vague explanation of the problem and figure out the cause on their own because most people can't give a "good" explanation of the problem.

I always had to drag the facts out of the users. Seemed like more of an interrogation than anything...

Thankfully, they knew me and I always remained patient and helpful, and even (mostly) smiling.
