Long topic titles on mobile version

I'm wondering if there's a better solution for the shortcut bar when there's a long topic title. This takes up over a third of the screen:

Do you have the text size increased or something? It appears absurdly large when I compare to my phone.

If I layer our two images in Photoshop, it appears the text is the same size. I should've noted that I'm using an iPhone 5, so it's probably a little narrower than your phone. Because of that, I end up with 6 lines of text in the shortcut bar instead of 4.

Sure, but the posts themselves are only five words across. Mine tends to average around eight.

Yeah, that text is the same size too. In the first sentence of that post, the word "same" would run into the white margin on my screen: http://i.imgur.com/ls24BGL.jpg

The box takes up too much space as I scroll through a topic. I don't need it to stay pinned because I won't forget what topic I am looking at and can easily get to the page's navigation if I want to use the links.
