Or The Fly, or Avalanche, or Ricochet, or the other Ricochet, or Sierra Sidewinder, or Thunder Run, or.... Tiki Twirl.
Don't think that because Thunder Road takes up a particular footprint or so much space that Carowinds has to re-use every inch of it for whatever is coming. I think we can be sure of a water park expansion, and probably a nice one.
Actually, there's one here on International Drive. The more you know...

I'd hate to see Friendlys disappear, as I'm a fan. A couple in Jersey have bitten the dust, but I ate in one for breakfast AND dinner..same one...on Mothers Day, with a helping of Great Adventure in between. As of yesterday, that one was still open.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Good point. I already know it's for a waterpark expansion because I know a guy that's in charge of catering the food to off season workers and he told me about T Roads closure in February and that it would be for a waterpark expansion. I'm just saying that Imhope that it will be a Water Coaster. I'm not sure a slide can make up for Thunder Road, even though on a maintainable perspective, they will be saving around 500 grand a year, which is a lot. Maybe they could put the slides closer to the turnaround and then put a GCI towards the station and take out all the games no one goes to and put it in that area. The GCI and all is just loose, useless speculation, but it would be cool.
