Carowinds posted this point-of-view video of Fury 325, it's new roller coaster for 2015.
Yum.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Yeah, I'm thinking I need to figure out how I'm going to get down there for this. It's too epic looking to miss out on.

Paul Reuben said at IAAPA that it will be. Along with Thunderbird and Batman at SFFT.

How Batman - The Ride gets nearly the attention it does is beyond me. ;)
On the actual subject of this ride, I cannot, CANNOT wait to check this out. It strikes me as the first giga-coaster to really deliver that "full" layout. Plenty of variety between some sweet turns and yet maintaining lots of airtime hills. It looks to be an awful lot of fun.
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
Then I guess I'll wait 10 years for the trees to grow in before I ride it. :P

Paul Reuben says that about EVERY coaster.
That's the joke I was after. I guess that's becoming such ancient history that people don't recognize it anymore.

Can't wait to ride this in a few short weeks! Doing an Orlando/Carolina's hybrid trip, which should be a blast. Never been to Carowinds before, but the invert is one I have been wanting to ride for a LONG time. Intimidator looks pretty fun too...
Leviathan is one of my top steel coasters, so I expect Fury to edge it out because of the addition of more of the low, fast turns. The drop, overbank, low-turn bunny hop combo is incredible on Leviathan. It easily beat Millennium Force for me, no question.
