Firefighters were responding to a blaze that damaged the iconic Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain Monday afternoon. In a statement, Six Flags said that the “the top of the lift hill” had caught fire during a day when the park was closed.

Seriously though, Magic Mountain announced on their webpage that "Plans for the spring debut of Twisted Colossus are still on track."

^ Wow. That could have been so much worse and done so much more damage. Thank God no one was hurt.
In terms of construction, it doesn't seem serious enough to cause any *major* delays. Let's just hope the state of California doesn't come in and make this a true nightmare of a project for RMC and SFMM.
