Rapids ride is temporarily closed for a new attraction in 2015. Here's an article: http://www.arlingtonvoice.com/story/entertainment/06/24/2014/sign-p...-speculati
I have to believe in has something to do with Adventure Theater (on the other end of the ride). I wouldn't think SFoT is taking out one of its major water rides (and the sign says "temporarily closed") which means either they're doing something near or around it, or we're getting the first every RMC hybrid rapids ride.

A Starbucks?? LOL! Have you ever been to Texas in the middle of summer? I dont think people are gonna flock to a coffee spot when the temperature soars well over 95° in the height of the season. Im going with the Lone Star Spectacular as well (though I would love to see a B&M wing or flying coaster).
1. The Starbucks thing is a joke.
2. Starbucks offers as many cold drinks as they do warm.

I would invite you to stop in to Magic Kingdom today, in summer, when it's 92 degrees.

Because corporate tells Bugs Bunny what their construction plans are?
And fwiw, 2011 had almost 3 months straight of triple digit heat (and my poor wife was pregnant that summer). We almost broke the record for most consecutive days of triple digit heat with something like 70. This year has been pretty mild by all accounts as we haven't even broken 100 yet.

Oh, sorry.
It's only your 13th post here, so a few things for you from this frequent poster.
1) We're a buncha cranky old guys who are tough to convince. We also have a couple of participants here who might be considered real experts.
2) Expect at least some ridicule if you wanna hang around here much. We've all taken it at one time or another, and most of it is good natured. We also have a couple of participants here who might be considered real comedians. Or, not.
3) We're not like some of those other forums out there. Since you're new, and if you haven't already, go to "About CoasterBuzz" and take time to read Jeff's advice on what and how to post here. It'll give you the info you need to know.
So, welcome.
