Do parks need a Hyper coaster to survive?

Just look at every park in Central Florida. I would say they have done a good job without a hyper.

In a word, no. What parks DO need are "family" entertainment. Families spend more money than coaster hungry teenagers.

Hypers are awesome, but Giga-coaster(s) are better (there are only two but I've been on MF). IOA doesn't have one; that park is awesome. SFMW doesn't have a hyper, but they do have a floorless and an impluse.

Hyper are cool but I don't think a park needs one to survive, but SFEG needs a COASTER TO SURVIVE!!
