^You bet Chuck - capacity would be an issue with one train (for a while anyway).
Whatever happens, Holiday World usually does a darned good job and coming up with thing to make things 'work perfectly'. Like opening the swings last year - or whatever.
After being 'invited' to a media thing this past week at another park - and seeing how they ran that (was NOT fun, left to go to another park) - reminds me how much HW does to make their guests happy and feel at home.
Three coasters running, we'd get to ride in the new Timberliners and we're already getting comments on capacity? Meh. I'd rather stand in line for a few minutes conversing with my friends (the reason I'm going) while waiting for a Timberliner ride.

I know that many will not be able to make it both nights. I would be more then willing to have a few less laps with the Timberliners and allow everyone to ride them then to only have the TLs for one session. We will have all day Saturday to ride Ravage.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
I like the idea of being able to ride in both trains at the same event!
Besides which, how many people are going to be at the event, anyway? Especially with the event going head to head with CoasterMania?
I figure a 14-car Timberliner ought to be able to do at least 560 PPH with coaster nuts. That's almost 2,000 rides for Friday night and another 1,700 rides on Saturday night. I don't think any coaster nut event at Holiday World has drawn more than 3,000 people!

Exactly. I'd actually kind of thought about it earlier, but didn't think it would happen, and now that they're hoping for it, I'm excited. This will be the final chance to ride with PTCs AND get to ride the Timberliner(s)? That's awesome. Great way to compare.

Seeing as this is my first trip to HW ever, I'm pretty excited about getting to ride both types of train. I am a little concerned about the capacity on the Voyage after dark, but if anyone can figure it out, HW can.

Andy, I was there in 2008 and I heard crowds were definitely less in 2009, but I imagine that even with 2008 crowds, 1 train on Voyage wouldn't be terrible. It might even throw some love over to Raven and Legend.
Regardless, can't wait to see everyone!

And with CoasterMania going on at the same time, I'm not too worried. It just sucks that I'm going to have about 3/4 of a day to experience the best park in the world, catch up with friends, and marathon night rides on the best woodie in the world running single train.

Weather permitting, it's fairly likely that you'll be able to ride Timberliners at TheFall Affair. Just sayin'. :)
