They took a car off of Voyages train. with how the brakes work, they can't run 2 different length trains.

THAT sounds promising! I wonder why they haven't been doing that incrementally through the whole process, during those long hours when the ride is operating and they can't lap the Timberliner.
Or maybe they have and Paula's releases simply don't reflect that.
Or maybe that's the only time the Timberliner crew has to sleep...

I was talking to a friend that was at HW on Friday. He was telling me that the back panels were off each of the cars. He was worried that something major had happened, but I figured it was to get the restraints installed.
I see this as very promising news. I am counting the days till my first HWN.

I don't know if this will work, but there is a picture of the front car at the beginning of the day. Later on, which I unfortunately do not have a picture of, the front car was reassembled, and the two lap bars were on. The rest of the lap bars were sitting behind the train at the back end of the transfer track.

Here is a photo of the TL with several rows of restraints on it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/columbusframer/29237_4474735...595141.jpg

That does not appear to be the front. I can see a hitch sticking out of the front of that car.

Just posted the following on our Facebook page:
Voyage train update:
1. We’ll provide public rides only after*both* trains are tested and pass State inspection (we hope by June 12);
2. Thefirst train is scheduled for State inspection this Thursday morning;
3. If the firsttrain passes, it will run after-hours during the private event HoliWood Nights,w/ the 2 older trains running during the days until both new trains are readyto go.
Incredible work going on here by very dedicated folks.
Thanks, Paula
