Gator: The nature of any performance improvement on the Raven, if there is any at all, I would expect to be such that riders probably would not notice. But the maintenance crew might notice a difference. Which is why I suggested that if there is a difference we might not know until next season. :)

Hmmmm.... Posted on the HolidayWorld Facebook page today (with picture of Ravoyage)
Can't get used to seeing a red train on Voyage. (Shouldn't get used to it, either; it'll just be another week or so, we hope.)
I rode the Voyage four times on Saturday, riding each train in the front seat and back seat once. I actually found the Raven train to ride a bit smoother than the Voyage's original blue train. The red train shuffled much less, to the point where the difference was even noticeable off-ride.
Regardless, the coaster was running very well, and the only "rough" section was the first half of the turn around...which is always that way.
I had a great visit to the park, like usual!
And BTW, both the Raven and Legend seemed to be running much better this year. Holiday World sure does take great care of/pride in their woodies.

I talked to a source a few minutes ago. He said that the 2nd train is now on site and that testing is being ramped up. He mentioned that Voyage would close a little early to allow for more testing time. He also said that they are really busting their butts to get the Timberliners ready for HWN.
Paula, can you confirm or deny and of this for us? I can totally believe that HW is doing everything possible to get the switch made as soon as possible.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
Source? It's not like it's some clandestine operation from the park that Facebooks and blogs everything. :)

Surprise! Nearly every "source" that has provided "inside information" to enthusiasts through this process has been incorrect. (And no, it's not me having fun watching the dance! :)) No, the second train isn't here yet. Yes, tremendous efforts are being made to complete the testing process.
Thanks, Paula

He was half right I am sure they are busting their butts to get these trains ready for us. No matter what HWN will be a great time so I am not so worried since my only concern (one train ops on voyage) has been resolved.

Ok. That was incredibly awesome. :)
That is why I was asking her to confirm it. When it comes to coasters, I don't believe anything 100% anymore even after I see it.

The birdies I here say, THEY WILL BE DONE when they are DONE! The second train is being assembled at secret headquarters to be delivered complete.
Done by HWN? Who knows, possible but not guaranteed :) The goal is ASAP and not a minute sooner.
I know I'll have fun either way :)

This is why I like having park folk in the forum. Huge +1.

My source told me that Chad and Corey posing as Dr. Evil and Mini Me hiding out in their secret lair and are holding the second Timberliner for ransom. Their demand?
100 BEELION DOLLARS!!!
Is that true Paula?

The thought of anybody from Gravitykraft posing as "mini-me" just seems ridiculous. I mean, I thought they had a sign on the door that said you had to be at least 73" tall to work there!
