I do too if it's the right kind of bodies, but when it's a lot of different kinds of bodies, both sexes, all ages, all nationalities, and all walks of life, it starts to not sound very appealing. lol

Stereotypes exist because there are people who fit them. I think it's worse to pretend they doesn't exist than to be able to laugh at it all.

Stereotyping one subset of a racial demographic and stereotyping the entire race or nationality are two very different cases. Don't pretend that you don't know the difference.

Not sure if you're referring to me or Gonch but as a member of a group that often gets stereotyped in many ways, mostly negative, believe me I'm well aware of the difference.

I see no difference between quipping that Knott's probably has a lot of employees named Jose and snickering at the idea that the folks in central Kentucky employ lots of mullets. They're both broad generalizations of a people. If anything the mullet comment is probably more derogatory in nature and intent.

With that said, I don't find either particularly offensive. But I certainly don't see how one is fine and the other isn't.

Inadvertantly insulting someone seems to be par for the course for me tonight. Somehow I said something to piss off my partner and I'm banished to sleep on the couch tonight, despite attempting an apology. Oh well...tomorrow he'll have calmed down. At least I have a TV to watch tonight :)
