This is slightly off topic, but I may have the opportunity to go to HW in a few weeks. I have read a ton about the Voyage, and am dying to ride.
The problem that I may have is that I'm 6'8" and a solid 260 lbs. I shoehorn myself into any coaster that I can (which surprisingly is nearly a hundred), and would love to do the same on the Voyage, but I'm worried about getting physically hurt like I did on SOB.
Can anyone comment on the legroom on the PTC's, and how padded the seats are or are not (especially the painful looking seat divider)? Also, if anyone has pictures of the trains, perhaps you can steer me to them so I can take a look)?
Please help, thanks!
Well the Voyage, like all the trains at HW has the soft foam seats, you should be pretty comfortable. As for the dividers, they are fairly thin, and at least on the Raven and Legend most of them actually are only a frame with a window for "excess mass" in the middle.
As for leg room, be sure to sit in any row but the first of a car. All PTCs have a foot space underneath the seat in front of you for more space.
Edit-The Voyage is also the coaster that comes the closest of the ones Ive been to approximating the MFlyer smoothness, its a little rougher, but leagues ahead of your standard PTC.

Incidentally, just after I posted that, ABC had a story about how airline prices were plummeting.

I took my buddy there for HWN and he is really tall, but not quite as tall as you. While riding he complained that he banged his knees too much so after the first day, we went to WalMart and got him knee pads. He felt stupid, but we made him wear them, and the next day he said they helped a ton. I know it sounds stupid, but I recommend them for someone your size on that ride.
Also, on Legend there is some netting your hands can hit if you have your hands up so be careful.
Also if you sit in the back seat of each car there is a little room to put your toes under the seat in front of you. Its a good excuse to have to ride in the very back seat.
The knee pads is a good idea, banging your knees up on a ride can really put a damper on the rest of your day.

Add that to the "You know you're a coaster enthusiast when..." list.
Reasons why we like Holiday World:
-Not just the Voyage but the Legend and Raven too
-Free Drinks
-Friendly staff
-Good, affordable food
-Great collection of non coaster rides
-Waterpark is one of the best in the country
Negatives:
-Park closes early (and thus very few chances at night rides)
-Park has a hard close making it hard to estimate when the lines for the coasters will close.
Why are you bored with it? If you're bored there then there are not much parks in the world that you wont be bored at. Now if you tell me that youve been there a lot (30+ times) and looking for something new then I understand but otherwise you lost me.
