The music selection hasn't changed. They still play Trick Daddy (Let's Go) and Guns N Roses (Paradise City) in the queue too.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

Maybe I just can't hear it over the loudness of the ride itself. Now you know why I chose that username, lol. If you include all the times I rode "X", instead of just "X2", my ride total is closer to 60.

I just read over at Screamscape that the newly themed rides will be named "Bazarro"! Now this is going to be unexpected to some of you, but I really really like the new name and theme. Bazarro is awesome.

So they stuck with the DC comics theme.
Can't believe there were no comics geeks to come forward and point that one out. Seems so obvious if you're familiar with the DC Comics universe - LexCorp, the colors, the changes...it all really only pointed to one place now that I read up on it all.
^I dont know I also bought the Lex Suit theme possibility too. However all my comic book knowledge comes from the movies and the 90s cartoon series so Im not an "expert."
However since Bizzaro does everything backwards, maybe the last big suprise is that the trains will be put on backwards too....
Ok I realize thats not happening, but if it was a true Bizzaro ride thats what they should do, not that I would want to ride it then ;).
Am I the only one a bit scared by these changes? The freedom a rider experiences in the original trains cannot be felt on any other coaster I've been on. The ride will probably be like Millenium Force- so far back in the seat one will feel limited airtime, and the high seat backs will limit the view unless you sit in the front.
As far as I know, SFA is still running the original Superman trains. This appears to be a SFNE decision, not a chain wide or even a manufacturer one.
I am not happy....
Sorry for my ignorance...did SFOT make recent changes to Titan or were you just pointing out these coasters may be modified over time?
Also, if these changes to S:ROS at SFNE are a result of the 2004 accident, why weren't the trains replaced sooner? The modifications made to the original trains, while not perfect, certainly prevented further mishaps. It seems like a change that is not necessary and completely unrelated to the incident. It will result in a different ride experience that will not be for the better.
I'm not quite sure how changing the seats in the trains will affect the ride that much. I mean, the non-T-bar lap restraints might hold you in a bit more, but if you look at a coaster like El Toro with a similar lapbar, you know that airtime doesn't necessarily have to be sacrificed. As for the high backs on the seats obstructing the feeling of "freedom" on the ride, honestly, how often are people riding this coaster and turning around to look BACKWARDS? It appears that the high backs still don't jut out at the sides to obstruct peripheral vision. Now, how the actual trains will ride on the track might affect the ride, I would imagine, but I can't see the lapbars and back heights having much to do with it. Just a thought?

No changed were made to Titan. I was merely suggesting that coaster could very well see changes like this in the future. Major Six Flags park that's likely not going anywhere, recent attraction that might benefit from some minor modifications, boring name/theme that wouldn't be missed by many...
The new lap bars feel great, but the trains generally seem to be bumpier than the old ones (I sat in multiple seats). I was actually pretty bummed out by the degradation in ride quality.
