Migrant enthusiast!
I just wonder if I'm going to turn left (toward Knoebels) or turn right (toward Hershey) at the end of my block.
^I am SURE that really sucks, Bear. ;)
I am pretty much a home park ho'. Camden is the closest at about 35 minutes, but I have about 10 or 12 that are within 3 1/2 to 5 hours. ;)

Sorry to resurrect this, but I thought I would use it instead of creating a new topic. This one happens to me a lot.
When the park closes in 30 mins. and you are one of the only people walking farther into the park to keep riding, while massive groups of people are walking the other way toward the exit.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

SFMMAddict with a pretty good one, yes.
Reminds me a bit of when we nuts find ourselves alone in a remote part of a park first thing in the morning. I remember my last magical trip to Disneyland our best time was right at opening and having Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and those areas all to ourselves. So awesome.
Matt, I've done things like that at SFMM too. On my last trip I went to the right side of the park first, since most people go to the left and go to X2 and Tatsu first. I rode Goliath, Colossus, Batman and Riddler's Revenge first. Each ride had less than 10 people in line.

How to spot a coaster enthusiast? The rope drops and they head to the back of the park.
Certain parks have remedied that situation by not opening the back of the park until one hour after park opening.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
Touchdown, I'm guilty of that one too. On my last trip I rode Batman: TR 3 times in the last 15 mins the park was open. I always do that if I don't think I have enough time to walk somewhere else.
In my opinion, opening the back of the park one hour late just cheats the people who would have wanted to ride the rides in that area first.

During our October weekend excursions, or the pre/post IAAPA convention visits, if several managers are in line together, we have a certain manager who will say "This is a great Vekoma !" very loud, while in line for say...the Grizzly, or the Hulk. It never fails, but someone will eventually attempt to re-educate us.
Im going to say this article (first set) is probably the definitive way to spot an enthusiast:

Somebody created a "Coaster Enthusiast" meme
If you've ever said/done any of these, you might need to re-evaluate your status.
P.S. Yes it's an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one if there's a perfectly good old one right there.
They call me Sheehan.
