Rock "n" Roller coaster at disney studios Orlando. I was scared of coasters until I went on that. I think it was the launch that did it for me.

My first roller coaster was the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood. Then I went on to ride the thunderbolt, which i thought was the greatest, and at the time the scariest, i was 6 or 7. The Laser Loop was my first looping coaster. Then the Steel Phantom opened, and I was in awe over how tall the coaster was, and its speed and drops and loops made me appreciate a good coaster.

I was scared sick of rollercoasters! I was always fasinated by them though. When I saw a show on TV about coasters, I watched it. The main reason is RCT! I was looking for a website about it then i stumbled accross and Space Mountain web page. I was fasinated by it and I had an 8th grade class trip were I would brake my fear! I waited 2 hrs for Kong [ Vekoma SLC] at SFMW. I rode it and never felt so awesome in my life! I am now an addict!

The Matterhorn at Disneyland. Although I was scared to death of it, I was fascinated from my very first ride. When I was 5, I used to throw a blanket over my rocking chair to make a 'model' of it. Although I was obsessed from an early age, the Giant Dipper at SCBB put me over vthe edge.

Oh...and Ghostrider just renewed my interest! Thanks Knott's!

In 1997 when I first rode Raven, I was hooked. It was one of the best days of my life.

An annual trip to Six Flags WoA (then named Geauga Lake) ever since I was 6 got me into coasters. I was too small to ride any back then, but I watched them and was fascinated by the speed and power. I am now 14 and are still captivated by them. My first ride was at 8 on the wooden Big Dipper, which was a bit frightning for me back then, but now I really like them.

When I was 5 we went to Geauga Lake (SFO or now, SFWoA) I rode the now defunct Corkscrew. I was tricked into the ride. I thought I was going on the monorail. But luckily, I loved the ride, conquering all the other coasters at the park.

Jesus, here I go, showing my age. I really don't think that any one coaster is wholly responsible for it, because I was simply destined to be born with coaster fever, but I used to spend hours on end watching Toboggan rides at fairs and carnivals. For all of you youngsters who have no idea what a Toboggan ride is, it's a vertical lift hill inside of a cylindrical steel tunnel, with track that spirals all the way down to the ground from the top, around the core, on the outside of the tunnel. After that, they have a few standard drops and bunny hops. I never was brave enough to ride one way back then, and unfortunately I still haven't ridden one to this day, but that was the first type of coaster that I ever encountered, so I guess that was ultimately the ride that first sparked the fever for me. And every few years or so since then, there's been a new coaster or type of coaster that turns the flames up on me another notch higher. This year, X is threatening to put me into a straight jacket for the rest of my life! Ever since my earliest memories of watching Toboggan rides, Tilt-a-Whirls, and Zippers at various local fairs and carnivals, spinning and flipping and flinging their riders around in seemingly impossible directions, I dreamed of a ride that would combine all of these concepts into one, and lo and behold, X is going to do it! I seriously doubt that ANYONE will EVER top the Arrow 4th dimension! It's simply the ULTIMATE thrill ride! But on a side note, AstroWorld's Serial Thriller is the coaster that inspired me to start my own roller coaster club/website, but only because it was SUPPOSED to be a 7 inversion coaster. Too bad it only ended up with 5 inversions by the time that it was finished, but at least my club/website is still going strong, and it's getting more and more popular all the time! Currently, I'm in negotiations with some people who want to do a story about it for worldwide TV, which will also be simulcast over the internet, if the project is approved, so thank God for the false advertising of Serial Thriller! Without it, I probably would've spent the rest of my life being just an ordinary guy who was really into roller coasters, instead of becoming a full fledged roller coaster NUT, who's really INTO roller coasters!

I loved coasters all my life, with the announcement of MF, I started paying attention to anything that had to do with coasters. Then a couple months later I ended up joining GTTP and Coasterbuzz.

Gotta be the good ol' Thunderbolt at Kennywood. No coaster has better laterals or a funkier layout!
