No. It just means they have more to do before they can open the ride. Maverick valleyed in it's Horseshoe roll and that ended up opening. This is one of the reasons why rides have to be tested and certified before htey open. Because no matter how much engineering and computer modeling you do, there's just no substitute for real world testing. I don't know what they'll need to do to correct the problem, but I'm sure they'll figure it out.

I think it was a month before the could get a G train to run the full circut on THE BOSS. The original Premier Trains Vallied in the first helix it's first runs on SOB.

It's quite common when the wheel bearing grease is new and not broken in.

Your just speculating. They havn't said the reason for the failure. In fact, the reason for the G2's on SOB is to reduce the stress. The premiere trains were more of a problem than the G2's will be.

I think the new trains can only be an improvement. REALLY, think about it - 95% of what was wrong with Sonny was those Gawd-awful Premier trains that were not fit to carry human cargo. The ride HAS to be better with the G-trains.

You're right, they 'haven't' given a reason for the failure, though my speculation would be that they blew an axle.
And if it wasn't an axel, then I guess it could've been from their retracking that section last year or the year before.

Was there an axle failure on RWB? I was under the impression that the track ties could have spread far enough apart to allow one of the wheel assemblies to slip off.
