Six Flags giving away exclusive night in park for lucky pass buyers

I think it's a cool idea but doubt it will really increase season pass sales that much.

Surprised they have Darien Lake listed... seems like they will have ownership for sure next year in their point of view?

--and that leads me to a (sort of off topic) question... when cedar fair took over Worlds of Adventure, what was the situation with the season passes in regards to the OTHER parks in the chain? I vaguelly remember them offerring a refund for those who wanted it, but i'm almost sure nobody got access to the other SF parks, is this correct?

debating whether i should go for a $49 pass [which by the way you can get access to frightfest THIS year... ie: 3 days left ;P]

"Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value for any reasons (including if the applicable Dream Night Theme Park is sold or otherwise becomes unavailable for use as determined by Sponsor)."

it said the time in the official rules, i believe it was aprox 6-10PM if i remember correctly, and certain rides would be open and free food.

I agree with mamoosh, convincing them to visit would be the hardest part.

But i hope i win so i can try!!

I guess since they submit a 1099 it gets added to your income for the year. Hell that might put me in a higher tax bracket!

^ So, instead of being out $60 for having a crappy day at a six flags park, you will be out $1100 (because of the tax hit).

If I would win, I would decline it. No six flags park is worth $1100 (even if you had the whole park to yourself).

Just give me the $4,480.00 and I will be a happy camper.

Yeah i see they didn't mention Wild Waves and Enchanted Village so i'm guessing that they r probably really close to signing a deal to get rid of the park after this season it looks like. Even though six flags put a lot of money towards there fright fest event this year. I'm thinking that Fright Fest is going to be the send off for Enchanted Village once the season is over.

It says there will be six winners from each park. Will they all be there on the same night? So much for having the park to yourself.

OOHHH.....WOOWWWW.....a whopping 600 people in the park to compete with for rides.....whoopie doo. Now 60,000 might be pushing exclusivity....but 600??? NO WAY!

I don't know...I would take the entire 6th grade...and make it a P.T.A. fundraiser for our school.
