Several sites have posted previews and screenshots of the forthcoming Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, set for release late this year. The biggest change for the game is its move to 3D, allowing you to ride the coasters and view your park from any angle.
Check out previews and screenshots from Gamespy and Gamespot.
Who cares if Chris Sawyer is directly working on the game or not? It's still going to be a fantastic game, and there's no need to nit-pick.
It's going 3-D, and I hope that the maximum graphic settings will really take advantage of the best video cards out there. I'm also glad to hear that they're offering 5 different themes included in the game... but the best thing will be how basically no two peeps will look alike (mainly due to color swapping). It'll be interesting to see how the AI will react as they claim... whereas families will stick together, the elderly will enjoy the atmosphere & calm rides, while the teens will run amok.
I honestly cannot wait, but this is probably the ONLY reason I will anticipate the holiday season at this point (being summer has not come yet, and I'm sick of this cold weather!)
That's my guess... but who knows... they'll definately make it user friendly.

yes, that does look blocky. Now lets look at a pic of a Real B&M invert:

Funny how they both look the same to me....
This WILL be an awesome game, as long as they deliver what they're promising. Glad I have a machine that can handle it. I'll still be doing RCT2 myself, as well as No Limits, and I'm thinin bout finally pickin up Hyper Rails. But this will be a definite buy for me.
Or, their PC may be a fossil, so it's basically the Sour Grapes routine.
It's not to say all negative feedback are examples of the above, as there are those that simply want it to stick to the original formula......
