Several sites have posted previews and screenshots of the forthcoming Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, set for release late this year. The biggest change for the game is its move to 3D, allowing you to ride the coasters and view your park from any angle.
Check out previews and screenshots from Gamespy and Gamespot.
I think the Invert looks pretty good for a game of this sort, and I'm very excited.
Looks like the flat ride selection is going to be nice in this game. Just hope we have regular rides without theming built in. *** This post was edited by Dukeis#1 3/25/2004 11:23:09 PM ***
It is nice to know we'll probably have choices though - as I wouldn't mind a giant black widow hugging a ferris wheel now and then. :)
'Lemon Chill Guy has predicted that Scrambled Eggs will soon be available.'
All I have to say is that it's arrogant comments like yours that is the reason these discussion boards are pathetic. Every time I read replies bashing a product that isn't even remotely done, I keep on thinking of Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.
It's absolutely amazing that you can come to the conclusion that a game will be worthless based off 2 dozen screenshots. My question is, how do you get to that point in your life when an annoucned video game has such a negative impact on your life that you feel the need to annouce that you are not going to purchase it? What IS good enough for you? A smoother looking design? Ok... let's think about this for all of 3 seconds... a smoother design would require a more powerful computer to run. This means less people will be able to buy the software so it will be unfeasable to make the product and therefore there would be no Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 at all.
Welcome to reality. If the game is sub par, design a better game yourself. Ohh wait... you can't do that???

ps. This is my first post on Coasterbuzz. I always read the stupid discussions about how nothing is ever good enough and I move on. This time, it was so absurd that something had to be said. Get a life

Nelson: This time around, maybe a port to the Mac could be a reality. It really depends on the programming interface they're using. If it turns out though, that they're using DirectX to code against video hardware, it probably isn't going to happen.
Call me old fashioned if you want. I'll probably buy it, but I have a feeling I'll continue playing my old version.
Oh, sorry I didn't reply to ya'll any quicker. You know, I have one of those things ya'll probably don't know too much about - a life, outside of the internet/computer.*** This post was edited by The Shy One 4/2/2004 10:55:46 AM ***
