Six Flags and Frito-Lay announced a seven-year, multi-million dollar sponsorship agreement. Frito-Lay will utilize the benefits of the partnership to access the millions of consumers who attend the 28 Six Flags properties across the United States. Frito-Lay will sponsor a major thrill-ride attraction at each of the 15 branded Six Flags theme parks in the United States. Frito-Lay will also have in-park television, publishing, and Internet marketing rights on www.sixflags.com.

Does this mean that they'll rename the area for Raging Bull at SFGAm "Cool Ranch?"

Hmm, that's a good question. Since this deal seems to be specific about the convenience foods division of Pepsi, I wouldn't think so - but you never know, that might be part of the deal somehow.
We've already lost one classic ride name at Astroworld, Bamboo Shoot which has been in the park 30+ years is now the Ozarka Splash. I shudder to think what's going to get the Fritos treatment.
Can you image the RC Cola Georgia Cylone or the Canada Dry Rapids Ride? Better yet, Superman's Icehouse Escape.

I just wish Frito Lay would sponsor my auto, somebody, not just Frito I'll take anybody. I need it more than Six Flags. I can see myself driving around in the Honda Honda Civic;). Or maybe my Civic, brought to you by GMAC or something.
