SFWoA's "Big Dipper" will take on a whole new meaning, and probably require some new theming....

Will the first inversion on SUF now be called...get this...the Rold Gold Pretzel Loop?

Excellent...small paint job required, and they'd have to use flecked paint to *reflect* the salt on the pretzel.....I love the business tie-ins. (bill, smiling and remembering how the "greaseless" wooden POS at SFGA, rotting lumber, is sponsored by Stridex acne medication).

...already awaiting info on CBCon II....wish I hadn't been quite so worn out from the previous week's travels (travails?)...but I will get more rides with Homey G. (and the Flyers' crew, you guys are too cool). *** This post was edited by rollergator on 6/28/2002. ***

I remember back in the day, when I was young, many of the rides at SFMM were sponsored by something pertaining to the ride. For instance, Shockwave, their original stand up, was sponsored by Reebok, which was pretty clever. Water rides were sponsored by bottled water companies, and stuff like that.

BTW, what the heck is Chupa Chups?! They now sponsor Medusa at SFMW, and I have never ever seen them at the store before.

They are lollies here in Britain!

Dunno what they are across the pond,

Rick

I think Chupas are suckers, I haven't noticed them for many years. They had like the Strawberry & Cream flavors, not like a bank sucker, not like a Tootsie. I used to buy them all the time thinking they had a piece of fizz candy inside, but it was the wrong kind;(.
Chupa Chups are these awesome lollipops that are more popular in England and Europe . . . they have really wacky flavors (my fave is Banana & Chocolate :) )

Whats a Lollie ;)

Just Kidding we call them suckers.
