CD316 said: "From what ive seen of this ride it looks like I would prefer a Back holding brake better. Thats my favorite part of the ride on impulses and this impulse doesn't have it so im not sure how much ill like it. I guess I will find out in August"

To which Jeff responded: "yeah, I can see how even not having done both you'd prefer the holding brake. " (Which I interpreted as sarcasm)

Then LoadedG stated: "Personaaly, I think I'll prefer the spinning of WT."

Well, unless we agree that both the comments of Da Dude and Mr. G. are equally moot, then I have an issue.

My question to Jeff P is...

If this is considered a "third" generation impulse, then what is the "not so vertical" velocity at SFMW called now? An Impulse version 2.5? LOL, sounds like a new computer processor.

Jeff says:

Two seconds hanging still or whirling toward the ground 450 degrees... yeah, I can see how even not having done both you'd prefer the holding brake.
=========================================

Still Jeff, its going to be a matter of personal taste. Just remember, that you have stated in the past(way before you rode WT), that you didnt think the holding brake was that great to begin with so it was pretty much a given that the rear twist was going to be better to you.

Still cant wait to get my rear-end to CP.

SFMW's Semi-Vertical Castrated-Velocity has been deemed by ][ntamin and by the park as a world's first 'modification'. Go figure.

Congrats to Sparty on his 100th coaster!

Those who might be interested can check the calendar for my 100th coaster trip in early June. While WT will be among them, there's almost no way it will be #100.

Wicked Twister is here, been waiting for this badboy since November baby! Heading down there for Coaster Mania '02 on June 7, but trying to get some advance rides in this month. Spin me 450 all day and night yo.
