That really surprises me...Such a great site, too. They must have not been making money. It is somewhat sad. I'm sure that the domain names will be on sale. CoasterBuzz would look really good with the domain rollercoaster.com.

What? No way! Bob just revamped his site, added forums & bought the rollercoaster.com domain. Well, you know what they say, all good (& bad)things must come to an end some time.

BTW, go to the site to read what Bob has to say. I wish him luck for the future.

well it's too bad that thrillride.com is going off the air.But as far as I could see they were the biggest bunch of false rumor spreader's this side of the net.maybe people were getting tired of checking the site for any new updates only to find that they have not updated the site in over 3 weeks,I know when I have checked it the site is never updated so when I see that it hasn't I just log out and go to coasternet or back to the buzz,at least our devoted site master Jeff updates our beloved coaster buzz at least every other day.

Curious, I wonder how he was expecting to make money with this thing. His target audience really isn't that large and most of us are tightwads, heh.

Where else can we go to read about the guy who's dad works at CP and showed him the plans for the 5000 ft. tall stand-up inverted tilt wooden coaster that will go all the way to L.A. and intertwine with SFMMs coasters because they are in such a fierce bloodbath of competition?

Seriously, I'm sorry it has to go, and I'm really surprised so soon after the new domain name and overhaul. Too bad!

this site has been a very big supporter to the coaster world. It will be very sad that on e of the best sites with Wild Rumors, News, and other cool stuff. This site went through a lot and i think that World of Coasters was a part of this site because the same thing that happened to WOC, is happening to Thrillride. Also even though I dont know a lot bout rollercoasters, I do sure know that this site is one of the best and it will really be missed.

I'm really sad to read and hear that thrillride.com will be closing. I thought the website would last for a long time. 5 years is just too young. Where am I going to read all those Wild Rumors?
