Construction continues at a furious pace at the mountain. The lift hill for X is now complete and work on the station continues to progress. Land clearing is also continuing for the rumored 4th attraction. Pictures are on Twisted Rails, including what appears to be part of an X train.

Things are looking good. I guess "X" may be finished before Deja Vu. It would be a great idea to completely theme "X" before it opens to the public.

Construction is goin' good, considering that we waited so long for it to start. Looks like it'll open in July, and probably not before Delay-Ja Vu.

Just a note... but the train parts are for Deja Vu. Just the bogies for that one, to my knowledge none of the trains for X have even been shipped to Magic Mountain at all.

Right James, the trains for X will be shipping in a few weeks. Those parts are for Deja Vu.

Great pics. Twisted rails has done a great job covering the covering the SFMM construction. What can I say about X? Insane, just insane!

Those are great photos but the trains that are there are for Deja Vu, there are two of them and each one will pull the train up the towers. You can see what they look like here:

Let me say that I saw a very crisp and very entertaining computer rendering of X in motion at Coasterpalooza, courtesy of Arrow. X looks absolutely SICK! The first drop is taken skydive style, with your whole body facing the ground, then you twist what looks like almost 360 degrees into the raven turn. The whole circuit is just twisted. Looks like it will be one HECKuva ride. :) :) Can't wait for this baby to open. :)

Maybe this delayed Deja Vu opening is a comperisey to have them both open on the same day! ;)I would like the station to be themed like a forign world, they could have a sign that says," Welcome to the fourth demention on the station steps and have cool lights and music playing!

Coasterman J - I saw that video too. Did it look to you like riders would be upside-down at the top of the first raven turn? I still am in shock over that video. You'll be facing the ground before you "skydive" down the first drop!

You know Karl, I don't really know. I was still gasping at the first drop that I didn't catch the raven turn. ;) Although I do remember that the seats were spinning before the entry into the turn, so it's possible. I think a lot of GP will be letting go of their lunch on this ride! ;)

That thing in the crate is a pulley cart that connects to the cable and pulls the train up the tower. Those same exact crates where in the SFOG parking lot a few weeks ago before the pulley carts were put on the track.
For construction experts: What construction of a coaster goes faster, the lift hill or the more intricate turns and dives? I think the X construction will slow a little now, but I'm probobaly wrong.

Yes, judging by that video, it looks like you will be upside down on the first turn. Then I think the flying position for the second drop. Wow!

IOArules- I might be mistaken, but I think I remember Titan's lift hill taking much longer than the coaster itself to be built. If that's the case, X could go quicker now! Again, I might be wrong, but I think I heard somewhere that once the lift is completed, the ride build time is half way done. Don't quote me on that :)!
