Wow... best photos yet.
So should we be calling that turn after the immelman an inclined loop or an "over-banked" turn? If you think of the track as non-inverted, you have an Intamin over-bank.

I don't think it goes more than a few degrees past 90, Jeff; maybe 95-100 degrees MF's turns are far more banked. I would definitely say that doesn't count as an inversion.

Jeff: I've always been partial to the term 'inclined helix'. The photographer dubbed it an 'inclined spiral'; works for me.

Doesn't Top gun at PGA have an incline similar to this one. It's one of my favorite elements!

As always, excellent pictures. Boy this is one tight coaster. Although it's hard to tell in two dimensions, it looks like this will have have some of the same foot-chopping feeling of the Vekoma SLC's.

Talon seams to be closer to the ground unlike Raptor.

I really like that design. It's very original and I hope it doesn't end up being cloned more then once.

Well much of Raptor is above walkways, and for the most part, it was confined to a small footprint.

Is it just me, or does the track pass othe rparts of track and the ground with minimum clearance??? I know there's snow, but look again at the track crossovers.

To echo basically everyone else, WOW. Talon is looking much better than I anticipated. The Immelman in the trench is genius and the inclined spiral is much smaller than I imagined. I'm pretty sure this will be a great, great coaster. Now if only June 17 was today...

Wow, I can't believe how close that S-curve goes to the transfer-track metal supports. This might be the scariest leg-choppper moment on any coaster yet!

Great pictures. Talon is just going to rock 2001. Unfortunately I won't get to ride it.
I noticed that even the rails are orange. Is Talon the first B&M to have painted rails? Other B&M's such as Raptor, Mantis, and Batman the Ride have silver rails.

Well, they have had painted rails, they've just worn off. Look at the Medusa's, they've got painted rails. I think Kraken does too.
Talon is tight. I like how much whippage there's gonna be on this ride, lots of back and forth laterals.
