The Columbus Dispatch ran an AP article on this topic on the front page of today's Business section. According to Amusement Business, the top 20 North American theme parks attendance-wise for 2000 were:

 1.) Magic Kingdom, 15.4 mil, up 1.3%
 2.) Disneyland, 13.9 mil, up 3%
 3.) Epcot, 10.6 mil, up 5%
 4.) Disney-MGM Studios, 8.9 mil, up 2%
 5.) Animal Kingdom, 8.3 mil, down 3%
6.) Universal Studios Orlando, 8.1 mil, no change
7.) Islands of Adventure, 6 mil, 1st full year
8.) Universal Studios Hollywood, 5.2 mil, up 2%
9.) Sea World Orlando, 5.2 mil, up 11%
10.) Busch Gardens Tampa, 5 mil, up 28%
11.) Sea World San Diego, 3.6 mil, no change
12.) Six Flags Great Adventure, 3.5 mil, down 8%
13.) Knott's Berry Farm, 3.5 mil, down 4%
14.) Cedar Point, 3.4 mil, up 4%
15.) Morey's Piers, 3.3 mil, no change
16.) Six Flags Magic Mountain, 3.3 mil, up 3%
17.) Paramount's King's Island, 3.2 mil, down 4%
18.) Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, 3 mil, no change
19.) Adventuredome, 3 mil, no change
20.) Paramount's Canada's Wonderland, 3 mil, no change

Things I found most interesting/surprising:
- SFGAd was the #1 most attended SF park
- SFMM had lower attendance than 2 seasonal parks
- Morey's Piers -- I never knew so many people went to those little parks!
- SF Mexico isn't on the list, considering it is located in the most populated city on the planet.
