Dear All

Could someone please tell me what is the quickest way to get to Tatsu from the entrance gates at SFMM?

Visiting the park very shortly with a friend from the UK - but haven't been since Tatsu was built.

Thanks

The Uk may be small - but we got the Grand national - you beauty! Wood is gud and don't you forget it!

Running is probably fastest. Walking is second fastest. Crawling will take a long time.

Thanks for that reply - always a joker about aint there!

For those 'stupid' people out there I meant directions to the ride entrance!

Please no more silly replies!

Take a left LOL. I think that a lot of people assume the entrance is on top of the mountain... it's not. The entrance is actually in Rapids Camp Crossing area of the park. Makes no sense, I know.

Dont know, but heres what I would do:

Step 1: Get Park Guide
Step 2: Open Map
Step 3: Find Tatsu's entrance*
Step 4: Find Entrance to park*
Step 5: Connect the dots

*=can be interchanged

or you could:

Step 1a: www.sixflags.com
Step 1b: Go to the Magic Mountain site
Step 2a: Find the park information page
Step 2b: Open Map

Steps 3-5 same as above

You're definitely going to want to head straight there. I can't imagine it would be faster to, say, loop around near Riddler's first.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

Just look for the big lifthill, and follow it till you get to the base of the lift. The entrance, I would imagine would be right near there. The other suggestions seem quite helpful as well. =o)

And now, some useful information...

The best shortcut (assuming the path is still open, its been a few seasons since I was there) is the Revolution exit path. There are 2 exit paths from Revolution, you can enter from the lower one and still exit at the top, all without ever interfering with the line or jumping gates. That will cut off the big, main path switchback that goes over to the Viper entrance and back again.

From there stay on the main path to Rapids camp, Tatsu entrance is there.

Pass da' sizzrup, bro!

Click your heels together and say...theres no place like tatsu...there is no place like tatsu.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Thanks for the 'genuine' replies folks - very much appreciated from a visitng UK friend to the US.

One reason I dont come on these forums much is that its full of jokers with stupid answers that can't answer a simple question.

In my experience, silly questions tend to garner the most silly responses. Personally, I found this thread quite amusing. :)

No offense, but it was kind of a silly question. You could have easily Googled up a park map like this: http://www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/info/parkMap.aspx

But I guess you wouldn't have gotten Soggy's good advice.

Still, I would imagine it would only save you 10 minutes over searching for a map online and figuring it out yourself.

Personally, I study park maps quite a bit before heading to a park. I love looking over the park and imagining what it will be like. I'm usually pretty familiar with the place before I even set foot in it. Guess that comes from being half map, half park geek.
