From what I can gather, it dropped right into the helix after the lift, I think there were some pics where you could see where the old ledgers were. Anyone have pics of before it was changed? I have never seen one. I'm sure there's gotta be a couple out there.
After it was the Mr. Twister that we know, it's the only coaster I can think of that had 'reverse banking' just a tiny little bit coming off the lift. The pics support this. I was there when I was 4 or 5 and supposedly threw a fit cuz I wasn't old enough to ride. Then I was there in '95 when the place was closed, bummer!
Probably more rare than pics of the CP Blue Streak unpainted and with a Red train! and lime green station.... I have no clue where those are... *** Edited 12/6/2007 1:41:23 AM UTC by J7G3***
The quality of the video is terrible but it's legible enough to see the original first drop.

Acutally, I'm quite sure that Vincent Price was talking, but I'm not sure if he was quoting John Allen. I havent seen America Screams in a while, but it still remains my favorite coaster related show.

While I don't know if GCI was attached to the project I do know that we came *thisclose* to Paramount resurrecting Rye's AeroCoaster. Instead they opted for something much, much larger (and with a loop). Still, I can't help but think that if a park waved enough money around and said "I want to rebuild that ride" that GCI, Gravity Group, or some other company would do it.
Kinda strange from a company who's first designer marathoned the COney Island Cyclone, One of the most intense force wise coasters there are left from the old gen. (Next to Coaster which features the same type of car (Prior and Church) as the GCII MF trains.
