Is Cedar Point about to begin their 2008 teasing tomorrow? What do you all think? A hole in the ground is generally something new, but not necessarily a new project.
I've edited it to remove text, but left the post intact so Dan's still makes sense. *** Edited 10/1/2007 4:01:35 AM UTC by Jason Hammond***

Quite frankly, I had such a horrible time the last time I visited Cedar Point, what with overpriced and lousy food, and rediculously long lines, I COULDN'T CARE LESS what they're doing for 2008. I would rather go to Kennywood or simply sit at home on my deck than to go back there.
Edit: One more thing, did you read the CP Blog where Tony and Tyler talk about prople "going crazy" after seeing them at the Cedar Point parade? Talk about shameless self-promotion.... Don't get a "God Complex," guys. You are but a small cog in a vast, heartless corporation, not every teenage girl's fantasy! Oh my gosh, how amusing....... *** Edited 10/1/2007 2:50:12 AM UTC by ophthodoc***
Who died and made you king?
Obviously your status has unfortunately robbed you of your short(ish) term memory, otherwise you - who has been around this site and therefore this hobby for a few years now - would already know that Cedar Point has had overpriced, lousy food and "rediculously" (sic) long lines since ... oh, I'd say 1989ish?
Anyway, I loved Maverick. And once again pointing out flaws in something great ;). *** Edited 10/1/2007 6:08:31 AM UTC by Hatham Al-Shabibi***
If you think things can't get worse it's probably because you lack sufficient imagination.
We don't wait in line for it, and only ride it first thing in the morning, but that's because we don't wait in line for anything, anywhere, anytime.
CoasterLovinFool said:In an effort to increase attendance and create a "buzz" about the park for 2008, they will build 2 new picnic pavilions, remove Dragster & Maverick and send them to other Cedar Fair parks !
That would only work if they were trying to turn Cedar Point into a "family park" . . . ;)
