I believe that's known as 'parody' :)
At the very least it's humor at its most basic - take the truth, exaggerate it to ridiculous levels and run with it.

It's a comment that plays off the stereotype that hardcore enthusiasts like ACE members are a bunch of overweight, food-addicted, unmarried, homosexuals with low-paying jobs that have nothing better to do with their lives than travel the world in search of coasters.
You mean no married well-paid heterosexuals like gravy? Or buffets? :)
However I have sworn off fanny packs, velcro shoes, and wearing my Wally World shirt that is 3 sizes too small so there may still be hope for me yet.

Obviously, Scooter has never seen the senior citizens bus trip stopping at Old Country Buffet. The only other place you see people with canes move so fast is Lourdes.
Yeah, I swore off Old Country Buffet around the same time I stopped going to Marcs when i got launched by a HoverRound. "I got a Golden Buckeye Card, boy! BAck Off!" and i went flying...
